does anyone know of a source for a /6 rebuild manual ?

FSM is a good start for all simple basic questions.....all torque values, all recommended clearances; if you are looking to hot rod, the MP Engine book has/had a section on the /6. Information beyond that would be to contact people who race leaning towers of power.

It's nice to see some one take a road less traveled, good luck!

Also, check out the slantsix.org website. It's chock full of good builds you can learn about using the search function.

Doug Dutra is writing a Slant-6 rebuild manual for one of the established car-book publishers. Don't know when it'll be out, but probably before the end of the year.

I’ll look at all of these

For what it's worth. My brothers FSM for a 66 Satellite has a heck of a lot more /6 stuff written about it then in my A100 FSM. Go figure?
