Removing brushed on RUST-OLEUM from axle housing?
Here is the housing with two coats of paint
that maybe an option, i have to see if the 5:13 gears will be low enough to get the 273 to pull off the index. I know that some of the other 273 stockers are hoarding every new 5:38 gears they can find for 8 3/4" rears.
