-16 this morning not counting wind chill. I work out side almost every day..
North Dakota
Lineman for power company
And actually headed to Vegas tonight suppose to be in the 70's, can't wait

Paddle a canoe?
Im on the edge of god’s country, when i worked for parks,as a maintenance mechanic the admins decided to put on a mandatory canoe course. 4 days.
I declined. They said mandatory.
I said canoes going to have motors? They said no. I then proceeded to let them know what i thought about the mandatory course. Turns out it wasnt something i had to do.
Im not against paddling a canoe, but being forced to sleep like a homeless person i have a problem with.turns out the forecasted thunderstorms were quite powerful.

it can be cold up in that bucket even in the summer at times!

Just got done shoveling 7 in of snow off the back deck, that g^&^&*(&*() dam drive way, and around the perimeter of the roof. I'm waiting for warm weather. I'd rather swet than shovel snow.
Come ON Spring.

We endured a lot of hardship chasing moose and speckle trout over the years...and often said you couldn't pay people to make those trips...but we were younger then.

The local weather girl said,"We will be in the low 60's next week.Time to break out the parka's."

Went to Disney World at Christmas 1987. It was a cold morning for Florida. We got on the tram in the parking lot and the guide had a parka on and saw that a few of us were in shorts and t-shirts. She declared that we had to be from either Minnesota or Michigan.

I can attest to that....when I was in Cheyenne Wyoming for 3 years (coming from S. Texas) I was amazed to see the young kids (10-11-12 years old) playing in the snow in their T-shirts while I huddled near my Furnace watching from inside my house. I never did get used to all that super cold dry weather. My ear lobes would crack/bleed and separate from the side of my head because of the super low humidity. I went through a thousand chap sticks!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Temperature? I can dress for that. 60 MPH wind here on the rocky mountain front was a little scary yesterday and that aint nothing for the people that live in the canyons.
It smells like freshly sawed wood around here with all the broken tree limbs.

Wait till it's 95-95-95 in June in Florida.
95 degrees, 95 percent humidity and 95 percent chance of rain.
we get that here once in a while, I`ll take it any day , over the sub freezing cold. Had two days of hi 60`s, 25 right now. ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Looks like the internet takes out another brick and mortar....

And then there is Erie Pa. 152+ inches of snow this year And it's not done yet.............
Yikes!!
We had two winters in the late seventies with 96 inches of snow. Our average is about 50 inches and we thought we had it bad.
