I like a long rod, so my combo's a bit different from the usual "stroker kit" combos. I have a 400 block bored to 4.402", a 4.250" stroke, Icon pistons with a 1.122" compression height and a 6.700" rod yielding 517 cubes. That combo puts the pistons down in the hole .033", so the block was then decked to zero. Most 512 kits use a 1.320" compression height with a 6.535" rod which gives you zero deck already, but I like the long rod. There's more than one way to skin a cat after all!
