Its turned cold again, and pouring rain, and I haven`t got back to it. After thinking about it, when I put it in park I might not have had it in fully, cause after the backfire, the motor wouldn't turn over, nothing. I sat there a second and pulled it in neutral,and it started and ran about 300 rpm too fast and wouldn`t idle down, everything other that that seemed to be ok. Thinking maybe a glitch in the n starter switch . ????? Hope it didn`t bend the throttle blades or something like that, "or worse !" I dropped a valve in one of my hemi`s back in the day, it acted the same way, but didn`t run as smooth. Fingers crossed !
