Hi I'm Tom

Here to research 67 barracuda fastback for potential purchase - I have one I'm looking at, and trying to determine it's value. Thanks for letting let me look around and see what up. (Newly retired car guy looking for a project)

Built 360 / 4 spd / 3.23 / nice body / repaint / partial interior / all trim present but some uninstalled

Will post pictures when I learn how

Post a wild guess if you like

Tom

Hi Tom from up north a bit in Rome, GA! Lived in Marietta for 5 years.

Sounds like a great car to finish. Pricing is always challenging when you're not in person. Post up some pics and some members should be able to give you an opinion. But you know what opinions are like...:D

"Hi, My name is Tom and I want to buy a Mopar..." HI TOM! :welcome:

Thanks for all the responses (and restaurant recommendations) - I appreciate it.
Hopefully these pics load correctly

Engine and Drive train are solid - no issues there (I realize that some parts are not technically correct - but it runs and drives so...)

Body is good to very good - all trim is present (just some of it is in the trunk instead of installed) - will need new bumpers

Interior is trashed (because 'racecar') - will need seats, dash, carpet and major cleaning

I'm in Georgia and car is currently in Missouri (belongs to an old friend of mine) but I will try to answer any questions.

Any problem areas I should look at carefully when I go up to check it out?

Thanks!

Welcome to FABO, Tom, (from another Tom!)
Problem areas to look for in the car is rust between the fenders where they bolt on to the inner fenders, lower parts of the front fenders between the front tire and the door, floor pans and trunk pan where the spare tire sits, rear frame rails and front frame rails from under the upper control arm to the bottom towards the torsion bar cross member, the torsion bar cross member, the trunk lid lip, the lower doors, the outer rockers under the doors, and the rear lower quarter panels, extensions, and wheel houses.
Find a weak magnet like a fridge magnet and check for bondo areas.
Good luck, and the car looks good in the pictures, but i wonder why the heater motor and everything else in the engine compartment is painted body color?
To me this is a possible tip off that the car was painted with not much attention to detail...............

I liked the double pics I enjoyed looking at it twice the main thing is to make sure you are going to be happy with it ,man it looks sweet to me ,crawl in under take your time and just check it out,I think dart nut gave the best advice good luck and have fun and keep in mind its Mopar so its worth 500 more than a old ford or chevy
