Began taking out the trim to replace cracked windshield, repair rust around that greenhouse rear window, replace the ripped-up headliner, all that restoration stuff. However, after removing the rear seat, rear arm rests, and a few visible screws here and there, I am not sure how to remove all of the interlocking interior panels. Don't want to mess up the original parts (those plastic "Barracuda" logos on the front doors, the panels behind the rear arm rests, inside trim around the rear window, etc.,etc.)

Is there a thread somewhere on FABO that details the ins and outs of what I need to finish today? Thank you.

A door panel clip is your friend to remove the door panels with headliner remove the visors and coat hooks , take a razor knife and cut around the perimeter and the remove the bows from the roof (not the headliner) until the headliner comes out . Do not remove the bows from the headliner until your ready to install a new one .

Those Barracuda logos on the front doors are not plastic, my friend. They pop right off, having steel tabs snapping into two holes in the door. One trick to know is that they are the first things to take off if you need to remove the 1/4 window and door glass.
I have new, black rear trim panels, and very good black seat upholstery I can sell to you if you want. Send me a private convs.

It appears the huge rear window needs to be removed before the interior trim around it can be removed, correct?

And the headliner should be re-installed before the windshield/rear window?

dont attempt to remove those plastic trim pieces at rear corners of trunk divider frame, you WILL break them. Barracuda plates come off with internal clips at 3/4 inch inboard. Use plastic 'spudger' and pry them at 3/4 inch. Pop right out.

PS, your rear seat back tops look pretty darn good!

My front and rear seats are in different states, the front seats are brittle and wasted, and the rear seat (for reasons unknown) is soft, pliable, and without any rips. Maybe the rear seat is still a "virgin".

your rear seat has probably spent most of its life bowing to the front seats! Mine was up and hence the sun rot.

Removed the "Barracuda" emblems from the doors.

Now, I still have a problem removing the metal gold trim between the rear wheel wells and just below the huge rear window along the black gasket. I tore the old carpeting out from under the chrome strip above the wheel wells. But there is a two piece, overlapping metal trim directly below the rear window that goes forward to the side windows that is about 2-3 inches wide. i found a couple of screws in the front piece, but then it seems to be tucked in underneath the thick rear window gasket. And I don't see any fasteners for the rearmost piece.

You can see what I am referring to in post #1 in the last (fourth) foto. It is that gold piece above the back seat black panel above the arm rest and goes all the way back to where the rear window ends.

At the five minute mark, the kid in the video mentions removing the interior trim piece I am having trouble removing, but he does not show the operation of removing all the fasteners.

There are screws up under the rubber window gasket that hide the screws from view. And, you need to be careful taking those "J" shaped trim pieces out from the front edge of the window. The screw holding down the bottom of that piece also holds the corners of the metal trim.
