do both diamond and batten have oval ports to begin with ? and what about the exhaust side has what pattern ?

Batten went to the rectangular ports for more flow.
Unsure on exhaust pattern but I would assume the same as w2 with dual patterns

man you guys have a ton of work in those intakes and heads , looks like all upstairs motors . and then the indy's are rectrangular ports standard ?
Indy comes in both styles of oval and rectangular
was just in shady dells site . he is getting some big flow #'s from the rectrangular ported heads , you must have alot of motor under those to keep the port wind speed up .
i'm just thinking 10 or 11 to 1 street motors for todays crap pump gas here in calif .
Well, yes, in a way. I just see a point in using such an excellent head in a grocery getter.
To effectively use such a head, first step is using a cam to take advantage of the flow capacity of the head. In most cases, that’s a big cam. They don’t work so well in Mom’s everyday church going ride. (Well, most Moms that is!

i had a 70 boss 302 mustang , and it needed no porting out , they needed to get reduced in size for the street . so we cammed it for the heads , that was one wicked little motor , bored .03 , 310 ci of ripper ! from 4700 to 8500 with 3.90's n a 25ist tall tire , it was hang on . wow is what it needed brakes sucked , 4 inches of vac at 1800 idle and 4 mpg anywhere . chassi dyno'd at @ 500hp at 8450 rpm . but has all ford do it broke n broke n broke n got sold , lol . i guess fun never lasts does it , lol .

Something went seriously wrong with the attachments. 
Wow! Looks brand new. That’s an intake I’d love to get my hands on.
It is new, I also had the m1 w2 tunnel ram brand new and like a fool sold it a few years ago.

I bought one of those new around 1970 for a 340 I was building to install in my 66 Valiant. If I remember correctly it came with a small polished steel block off plate for the heat cross over.
Actually bought that intake with a big package deal in the late 80s....
