For sale is a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 (P-code). The exterior of the vehicle is sunfire yellow with a black vinyl top and black interior (standard bench front seat). Stripe delete car, but original owner installed black stripe at later date. The vehicle recently went through a partial restoration before the powertrain was installed.

Powertrain / Chassis:

The 340 motor (not numbers matching) is stroked to 416 with head porting - Stage-I. The block has a 1969 date code. The block was checked for cracks... no issues. The engine contains an Eagle rotating assembly with Ross Pistons. The intake and carburetor are from Edelbrock. Overall, the outside of the engine assembly was made to appear stock (minus orange paint for 1969, headers and some misc. components). The engine has roughly 1000 miles on it, since restoration. Please note the odometer was not turned back when the new engine was installed.

The transmission (727 - numbers matching) is an automatic on the column. The transmission was rebuilt prior to being installed in the vehicle. The original torque converter was replaced with a 10" Billet (stall 2800 - 3000) that was purchased through A&A transmission.

The Dart has an 8.75 rear axle with a 3.91 gear ratio (Richmond) suregrip. The axle was also restored prior to re-installing back onto the vehicle. The bolt pattern in the rear is 4".

The vehicle has manual 10" drum brakes all around and manual steering. The front and rear suspension has been restored/rebuilt and parts/hardware were replaced as required. The steering column was restored (converted from power to manual steering). There is a new fuel tank assembly and sending unit installed along with new period correct fuel and brake lines (purchased through Inline Tube). The master cylinder is a reproduction with the original/period correct top.

The Dart has new A-Body reproduction/period correct leaf springs from Mopar.

The exhaust system contains Doug's Headers with a period correct exhaust system from Accurate Exhaust (from the header collectors back to the chrome tips).

The drive shaft was re-balanced and new u-joints were installed.

The original radiator was re-cored.

Exterior / Interior:

As previously mentioned, the Dart went through a partial restoration before the powertrain was installed. The engine compartment and underside of hood were repainted. The restoration took place roughly one year ago. The exterior paint on the Dart is not original, it was repainted when a previous owner had it. The fenders, doors, roof, quarters and trunk pan appear to be original to the vehicle.

A new vinyl top was installed with polished original stainless trim. The windshield was replaced along with a new seal. The rear window seal was replaced, but the original glass was reinstalled. All the side glass appears to be original. The front and rear chrome bumpers have some pitting, but appear to be original to the vehicle.

The interior was also restored. A new dash pad was installed. The rear bench seat/seat back were restored with reproduction/period correct vinyl from Legendary Interiors. The front bench seat was restored by the previous owner. The vehicle originally came with a vinyl floor, but I decided to install black carpet. The seatbelts were restored with the correct/reproduction tags installed. There factory AM radio was missing when I purchased the vehicle. To date, I have not replaced it.

The Dart does not have the heater box or heater core installed in the vehicle. The wiper system was also removed from the vehicle. Since I've owned the vehicle, the vehicle has not been out when there is a potential for rain.

The vehicle has a fender tag along with the original monroney label. This is a turn key Mopar that you can get in and show up to cruises/car shows or hit the drag strip for a little old time fun.
