Rv'd Body Work/Paint Estimate Today: $50,000.00

This is regarding our 1965 Formula "S". Originally asked for a three part estimate for exterior, interior, and chassis but they lumped it all together.

At the current exchange rate of 18 to 1, fifty thousand pesos works out to $2,777.77 US dollars. This figure includes labor and materials (single stage acrylic enamel with hardener). This is from the same shop that painted our '72 Satellite Sebring Plus a couple of years ago (Bahama Yellow).

They get started as soon as I put up the required 50% down payment. When they painted the Satellite, I think it was finished in about 13 working days.

Thats cheap for paint and body work. Mine for the duster was $6300.00 Canadian and i had a rust free car, just minor dings to hammer and dolly out. Base clear cut and polish.

I wouldn't be able to get my car there fast enough! that sounds like a pretty god deal..
