What kind of performance would a person expect out of a stock '68 340 with a summit k6901 camshaft. Looking for a good driver camshaft. Headers, 3:23 gears. It's a rebuilt to factory specs. Not looking for a over camed car .
 
i had one in 360 for awhile,nice little rumble at idle, very nice torque curve,pulled hard. i just couldnt live with that idle and switched back to 284/484 id pulled out of it.id say a slight step above stock340 cam.imo.
 
I’m using it in a 1973 stock compression 360. Smooth idle and pulls 19 inches of vacuum. I also have 3:55 gears. No complaints.
