I'm adding a second to my car this winter. I'll be in the middle 12s hopefully.

Well mine has never been run so I'd just be guessing, but I'm pretty sure it won't start with an 11.

no matter what you do, it will be old school and your way. that is all that really counts.
pat yourself on the back, you do some good work !

Those Time Slips were a gutted car. I'm putting a full interior in it as we speak.
a little more weight may bring the 60 ft down some. you may lose some mph, but not as much et as you think

I have a full interior. And a fold down rear seat. And a factory sun roof too.
Yeah I have the factory fold down seat but I have a firewall behind it so I'm going to have to do delete a couple of my plastic panels and get a little creative.

You know I was hoping LOL
I got plenty in miles per hour to spare and the stroker seems to bring no into the torque. it's the 60-foot time and I was hoping the extra weight might actually help.

I think the mph # as I recall, said there was a 1/2 sec to be had.

I'm still trying to decide which ignition I should run.

I have a digital 6 in the car, but I have a digital 7 on the shelf and an analog 6 and several analog 7's on the shelf.

I need to pick which ignition system to use to make sure I can run a 12.2X as that's my goal.

I've got a doctor appointment tomorrow on your side, and then I have to see the accountant on Friday. Once I get that all taken care of, I'll work on my junk.
Oh I'm sorry I didn't quote you on that one. But if you feel guilty LOL...

12,3x ?
Well I went from my stock ignition to a full-blown msd6al distributor wires the whole nine yards and didn't pick up a tenth. I find the six Al and all this crap only good for the rev limiter in the Two Step Beyond that performance I'm not seeing it. I remember I'm just a hobbyist.

So you want me to run an analog 6, or maybe an analog 7?

I'm saying if you didn't need the rev-limiter or the two-step I would just run whatever it came with for Mom Mopar. My experience which is extremely Limited tells me that all that money didn't do nothing but get gave me a rev limiter and a two step.

Now and your case you have this mysterious X block witch from what I can research is a higher revving block and can take that kind of pressure. And if that's your intention to use it that way maybe an aftermarket ignition system would be the way to go especially since you have a crap ton of them laying around.

I can loan you an ignition system if you want to try one.

I had the moparperf chrome box for 10 years, ran good, 12 seconds, but when going slow in street traffic coils would overheat and quit, as mopar said would happen. stepped up to the accel 300 box and coil-started better and more snap, and no resistor needed, and has a rev limiter. accel coil died after 1 year. msd coil now good for 10 years. 750 440hp avs and now 11.7 street and strip at 3040 pound vehicle weight thru edelbrock 2.5" muffs

You pulled away in the lead a couple days ago with the votes there but it looks like I caught up and it's tied up! People must be coming to their senses!?
Did you ever get that prickly thorn out of your back tire? And so you put a patch on that what must be over 15 year old Tire? You are really going to have to provide a safe time slip before I get in the lane next to you! And these people keep voting for you, it cracks me up...lol

It was a goat head. So you got that wrong. I run tubes. I have plenty of passed down the track.
You'll be plenty safe.
