I remember in the mid 80's, seeing a clean '69 GTX sitting out in front of a house for months. Finally knocked on the door to see if the car could be for sale. The lady said it had a blown engine and she would sell it for $500. I remember she said her kids called her GTX "The Tank". I didn't buy it because it didn't seem like that good of a deal at the time...
