Electric Life power windows don't fit

I do recall the 74 glass being different. I parted a 74 and did not keep the glass because there was some difference in the way it mounted to the regulator. This is on a swinger, not sure about duster.
My glass is out in storage. I will check it this weekend if I can remember.

Found the answer. For anyone out there that has a '74 Duster and wants to put an electric life bolt on (CR 47) electric window regulator, IT WON'T FIT!! They changed the window regulator in '74. I went and looked at a '73 in my local junkyard, and it is totally different. Electric Life must have engineered their kit off of a '73 door, but didn't do the research to see if anything changed after that. I was thinking of taking the guts out of the car in the junkyard and installing them in my '74, but I already purchased new glass and the holes in the glass are different to accommodate the different set-up. I just spent yesterday cutting the electric life unit apart and modifying it to work for my application. Looks like it is going to work. Had to turn it into a one arm unit, and relocate the mounting holes. Had to change the angle of the arm also, since it didn't lower the window all the way down. Electric Life could make this unit by simply taking the original regulator and making it electric. They engineer the units by sending an original door to Italy. In this case, they could just use the regulator. Going to try and work with the Tech guy from Electric Life. Hope they get the message and stop advertising this to fit model years '73-'75. Hard to believe no one has tried to put one of these in a '74. Maybe they just sent them back, or did what I did.
