What color do I paint the dash?

I wouldn't use lacquer and that is what most of the "trim" paints are.

The dash is supposed to matte so you don't get a blazing reflection (did that before and it was a mistake)

Ya learned that lesson the hard way too. Thought it would be cool to put some crazy mixed up color fabric (not rainbow!) on the dash. Actually looked cool. Pulled out on the street and couldn't see a thing!
