This car had 15 x 7 Auto Drags with the 3 5/16 backspace and 28 x 9 MT slicks. They hugged the lip of the quarter a little too close and didn't let me drop it down much. I had a choice of the 3 5/16 bs and 4 7/8...in hindsight I should have done the 4 7/8 and clearanced the inner wheel tub or even run a small spacer.
So I would say ideally you want a 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 backspace and a 15 x 7 or 15 x 8 wheel. 15 x 8 with 4 1/2 bs would probably be perfect.
