High compression blues.

It's what everyone is saying, but yet there it is, pinging. Except for a couple,.....I've never been stuck with 91 octane max, so I can't speak as to it's ultimate abilities. I
posted some numbers and looked for someone to point out where it'd be wrong, I'll have to do it Myself I guess, did some digging back into the Mopar std. racing manual.
The only ??? I've asked that hosehead hasn't answered probably won't be unless He yanks a head off. It sounds like He's not going to get an answer from the machinist.
What is the exact piston to deck height on this thing? If the piston is only .030" taller than the 10.1:1 slugs He's going to be close to .060" for a quench/squish distance.
Not good. If it's what I posted, well, that explains itself. But the comp. dist. listed by NAPA & F-M in the catalogs has what I perceive to be a discrepancy, so that's the main
issue with the numbers. Now back to "he should be fine"!!:poke:
Honestly I read that twice and don't have a clue of what you're talking about?!
