Crank pilot bushing part#/size needed?

Magnum 5.2 swap w/833 4speed.

Looking for bushing dimensions/part#?
Dorman #690-042?
Thought it needed to be longer?

The Dorman #690-042 bushing dimensions are:
Outer Diameter 1.057 in.
Inside Diameter 0.754 in.
I got this info from the Summit Racing site. They don't list the length so I'm not sure if this helps.

magnum engines used a bushing that pressed into the torque converter register flange in the crank for factory manual setups, and a roller bearing pressed inside of that. P4876056 is the mopar number. now with your A833 Id highly recommend having a machinist make an oilite bronze bushing to replace the roller bearing (the OE pilot bushing is a smaller OD than the roller bearing in the adapter block) as the input shaft of your trans isnt hardened (most modern 5 speeds are) and that bearing will eventually munch itself, and the shaft. OR have the snout hardened, and run the roller. Ive found in the 2 big block swaps ive done in both my trucks, the crank was drilled for a pilot bushing, but wasnt reamed to size. this was a 65 and a 68 361 and 383. I went with the custom bushing in the adapter housing route in both. If it were me, id go this route. It makes life so much easier.

Now I understand what you are saying.
Got bronze pilot bushing. Insert it in crank pilot hole it hits a ridge, not reamed deep enough to OD size of bronze bushing!:mad:.
Unfortunately, Guess I got to go with register bearing setup...........
Seems deep enough not to have to cut end of shaft, however.

What I came up with on a 440 automatic crank and an uncut 833 input shaft. Maybe some of these dimensions can assist. The green is where the bushing (above) would be installed after opening up to the proper dimension. The 2.225" is plenty deep already.

I just found out you can get a bronze bushing that is OD less to get through the unmachined crankshaft?
Don't know what to do but I'll probably just go with the actual bearing insert instead to be safe.

Napa offered them once upon a time through their balkamp line. I looked for that exact creature but came up empty handed, except a few ebay listings that they wanted entirely too friggin much for em.
