OK, so my eyes have changed and continue. My left is way out 2ft or so to focus, my right used to be able to focus within 3" or so of my face, now it's out there too far.

I have one or two "reading" glasses, one of which I "hacked"

SO TONIGHT I went to the store, and carefully picked out a 20 buck pair of "Foster Grants" for my left eye, and ANOTHER pair for my right eye, same frames

Came home, hot running water, popped one lens out of each glasses, and made ONE PAIR with the proper lens for my left and my right eyes

NOW I HAVE a "useless" pair left over.....the right lens needs to be on the left side, and the left over "left" lens from the other pair needs to be on the RIGHT side

So I thought crap, waste of 20 bucks!!! Down on my workbench, maybe nobody will know, I'll epoxy them into the frame reversed side for side, and have that "second" pair!!!
THEN I STARTED FOOLING WITH hot running water, AND MANAGED TO STRETCH THE LENSES into the opposite sides of the frame!!! LMFAO!!!! TWO PAIRS OF GLASSES!!!!

You can see the change in shape with the "wrong side" lenses on the bottom pair!!!

Top pair is how they sposed to look, bottom pair lenses reversed side for side

67Dart273 You are a F#@Kn Rockstar!!

I have pretty much the same problem,

Great thinking outside the box no matter what it cost!!

Kudos to you!!

Most people would pop the wrong lenses in and return them. Congrats on being a creative not-douche.

So i went to the pharmacy,to do the same thing.
Fargin bastiches dont stock the same glasses in different magnifications....

Can't you just heat the center and straighten the glasses then you can't hardly tell what you did?? Looks like the glasses opened in the center where they sit on your nose...a little heat!!

Treblig

That is a problem. I forgot where I went last time they had metal frames. These here came from Wagrens "Foster Grants"

Used the "manly" LOL pair at work today. They work great!!

LMAO!!! I did something similar not too long ago, but for a different reason.
I used em when under my welding hood.....no one saw em but me.....lol....good thing; they were ugly.
I was too cheap, and in too much a hurry, to buy cheater lens for the hood...lol.
I've since bought a set of cheater lens for the hood and trashed my original "creativity".
