thermoquad???

well i should be getting it back today. looks like the snow storm delayed shipping a day..

i didn't send it to harms because it was gonna take 8+ weeks to get it back. i didn't want to wait till the end of april. plus i really don't need a show quality carb for this truck..

i sent it to ohio to a guy highly recommended by a good friend. its called vintage muscle car parts, Vintage Muscle Car Parts

talked with the guy on the phone and was comfortable with him and he was about $100 cheaper then harms. like i said i don't need a show carb. if i was going show i'd go harms...

anyway he finished it up the other day. said it was a mess. secondaries were seized shut and hard to get apart. put new brass floats in it.. the primary shaft needed to be bushed and it was just basically corroded everywhere. after all it had been sitting since 1994 with no protection really..

hopefully fedex will drop it off today (tracking says its out for delivery). its been test run on a motor already so there should be no surprises. he said just basic adjustments like any other carb would need..

next i have to slap it on. do something with that exhaust manifold and see if it will move under its own power.. getting excited now..:)
