I'm getting a 67 /6 block freshened up, and I have a good newer (1970) 904 trans . I'm trying to leave my options open. Since I will need crank work done I would like to use a newer crank so I can use the good trans if I choose to. I just couldn't find journal specs for the width of rod for the 67 crank, where I could for the 68 - 76ish of 1.225 and 1.00 on the 80 up. Just wanting to make sure the 67 rods will fit a 68 -76 forged crank.

There is no difference in 225 connecting rods from '60 through the end of the forged crankshaft partway through the '76 production run. They are the same; go right ahead.

By the way I did order one of those cams from Oregon Cam. Should have it by next week.
