Picking up a 318
I've been looking for a spare engine to build up over time - as money allows....
After searching a long time, I found this one and haggled it down to $50.....
Gonna pick it up next week...woohoo!
The plan is:
Stroke it to 390
Roller cam and lifters
Edelbrock heads
Fuel injection
9.5 - 10.0 to 1 compression
Looks nice and crusty, 2 barrel. ....just the way I like it.
Means it's probably never been bored and never abused....
It was running 3 months ago when pulled.
