You could use 1/2 EMT and flatten them out a little in a vice, sort of oval-ed you could say. Would be thinner but give the illusion of larger Dia. pipes.

that's a good idea spl440 let me try that, I'll let you know how that works

This is what I have so far still waiting for the lights, should be any day now. Working on the front chrome axle and shocks. not real happy with the blower and snout.
so what would you guys or gals do?

Glad you like it 66fyssh but if I keep having free time to work on it I'm gonna screw it up.
If you ever get up this way you need to stop by and we can make you a wall hanger.

I drove through South Dakota one time on my from Idaho to Pennsylvania. North Dakota is one of four states I haven't been in!!

When I was in the Air Force the saying was "why not Minot...freezing the reason"!! As you know there is an Air Force Base there.

Yea we got an air force base in Minot and Grand Forks. Not much up here but I like the peace and no traffic. But the cold is getting me down about this time every year. You guys I'm sure have some warm weather by now.

It's been warm, cool, warm, cold, warm, cool, warm, cold. It's supposed to be 31 degrees tonight. Not cold for you, but cold here at the end of March.

From the sounds of some of the posts around FABO, I think a lot of us are ready for Spring, lol.

That's the only thing good about being up here every place is warmer than here. I drove semi for 10 years and remember going down south as far as Jacksonville Florida in December everyone had a coat on and I was in a tee shirt. But Ya know this year has been bad weather every ware it seems than in the past. So far it has been pretty good here not a ton of snow and the geese are coming back a little early this year

well there it is. a little to much light in the radiator, but what the hell.....
 
Looks amazing. Great thoughts and suggestions by all.Yes it needs some smoke.
