slant six radiator

In my 65 Dart, I have a 22"W copper radiator I bought from Autozone ~8 yrs ago. It was listed for a ~72 Dart, which was the first Dart radiator they listed and don't recall for which engine, though mine is a 273 small block. The lower tube is 1.5"D on the R side (passenger), which would be correct for a slant since small blocks were 1.75"D. I had to use a rubber bushing adapter to fit the aluminum water pump (1.75"D inlet) which I switched to. At that time, I was stumbling around and hadn't found this site with its great info. "Should work" for your slant, though the lower tube isn't angled like in most slants. The location of the upper tube (1.5"D all A's) might vary with AC option and year, at least it does in small blocks (use Google Images). But, I paid $200 for the radiator and I think you can get a lighter aluminum one for ~$150.

I do have a slant (1964 Valiant). It came with a thin radiator from who knows what car, but they made it fit. Also had a battery marked "Honda" and M-B pusher electric fan, sort of a Road-Warriors solution. Thus, many radiators could work, though most for newer cars are too short and wide.
