This car belonged to my father (he was a member) This car was something he put a lot of time and money into. The car just came back from paint and a moderate restore. I say moderate because I don't know all of the details but I do have receipts for tons of parts. Looking over the car reading some of his old notes ect most of the car has been worked but will need some finishing up there is over 30k invested thus far and its 90% done.

some history this car was bought brand new in Danbury CT and has remained in CT its whole life I have the window sticker and paper work from when it was bought new such as title ect

only going to name some highlights as I have not gone through all of the receipts but will over time if a question needs answering.
lets start with the Good!
All parts and systems are brand new with less than an hour run time and 5 miles
interior is original with black seats
Paint is 2015 challenger gray metallic/and surf blue
motor is 340 out of Dart still has break in oil from rebuild/ Automatic trans new torque converter
new bushings
new holly carb with electric choke
headers and complete exhaust system
glass is all good
has ecu I believe
MSD coil and plug wires
lights, wipers, heater, all working

Mikey Thompson tires 275/60r15 rears and 235/60r15 front
chrome bumpers new front/rear

some Bad that will need finishing
most dash pieces like speedo, fuel level not working not sure why tach, oil pressure, water temp are working tho
front torsion bars are in need of changing I believe because this was a 6 cyl and now has a big v8 up front
needs tuning its very rich
most the trim is new but off the car window moldings are installed

I can discuss more details for interested parties this car is very nice over all. It my Garage is full of extra unused parts that he had as spares and or changed his mind these parts will go with the car as well. Seeing it was left to my son Who is 2 at this time this will become his college and or house fund for when he is older. I'm not to sure what the value of this style cuda are if you guys could give insight to that it would be a great help.

First, Sorry for your loss.

that looks real nice. If its as solid in person as it looks in pics it should sell easy. GLWS.

Your 2 year old son probably does not know of the car for sale,,but if he finds out about it when he is 10 or 12 years old, you will have some explaining to do,,, just kidding, nice looking Barracuda.

I am thinking we should move this thread to help this new member, we can not be having all this conversation in the for sale thread

Not sure why conversation is bad for any thread keeps it at the top which help let ppl see it’s active. But I’m new so what do I know haha.

Thank you everyone for the kind words an condolences my father never got to see it painted but it was his dream to show it off glad everyone appreciates it.

You should send a Mod a message and request Dad be put as Legendary Member. We do that for members that have passed
