318 Power, with real street manners ?

Yep, thats the one. No roller cam. They dyno’ed it with a solid flat tappet. I ran it with a smaller hydralic cam( not a roller)
The block was zero factor in how it ran, other than attention to detail in the machining and the trick lightened crank.
Revved like a chain saw
An LA 318 block with moderately ported eddies might run better( lighter)
Those heads only went low 270’s at 600
