I have a 72 Dodge Demon I have installed a hydroboost system with factory 74 front disk brakes and drums on the back . I am on my 4th proportioning valve I have installed two Chinese piece of junk both leaked all over and have rebuilt to factor valve first leaked internally the one I have installed now has worked but now I have a light don't know if I have a leak internally or if the small shuttle value piston has set it off . I'd like to find alternative the proportioning valve . Any one have any ideas.
Thank you for any replies Harold

Hey Harold,
Check this out.

Aluminum / Steel Clear Anodize $92.82 260-11179

Wilwood two pound and ten pound residual pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel in both disc and /-24 inverted flare female fittindrum brake systems. The two pound valve is used in disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the horizontal plane of the calipers and fluid drain back occurs from gravity and vibration, thereby causing excessive caliper piston retraction and a longer brake pedal stroke. The minimal two pound residual pressure prevents fluid from flowing back without causing the brakes to drag. With drum brakes, a ten pound valve is used to compensate for return spring tension and maintain wheel cylinder sealing in the drums. Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color coded for easy identification. Valves with fittings are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3gs that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.

What valves are failing? Do you have a pressure reading as you could be making more than they are rated for? Obviously not a stock deal so are you possibly over pressurizing the system? Just food for thought.

During the time I was having all the valve issue I was battling power brake busters couldn't make them work my engine was no making good vacuum
