I will have to look at the VIN when I get a chance. I don't care what the VIN # is but if someone needs it back for their car I would rather see them get it to put back in their car.
Just don't screw yourself in the process..... Someone would have to provide me with atleast what I have and probably more before I would let it go. In today's world when someone reunites a numbers matching block with their car it ups the ante on the resale value of the car and that's the reality of the numbers game. There will always be exceptions with the best of intent in wanting just have their car numbers correct but it won't be the norm. Been doing this too long and have seen the game.....
