They were both removed and painted with the trim left on.
I like the trim even without the vinyl.
Not real easy to see in these pics but both have it on, and the yellow cars roof is texture painted.
These look great! From what d55dave says there are some trim studs that the trim is attached to. Mine are not there. I wonder how difficult to attach the trim without them.
