1974 Scamp #2

Not working on the Scamp today but thought I'd share a new rust removal tip that I tried today. These are some suspension parts off my next project, a 68 Dodge Coronet. It was my grandpa's car. He bought in new in late 67 and I got it in 1992 when he passed away.
I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a gallon of hydrochloric acid for $6.88. I knocked off the dirt and scale with a wire wheel then put the tie rod adjusting sleeves in the acid for about 30 minutes. A good rinse with water and hit it with the wire wheel again. Sleeves looked like the idler arm to start.
