I did. Spent 2 &1/2 days and nights by his side. Was 1 year ago last week. It was rough, but I'm glad I was there. He went surrounded by all his kids, in his own bed in his own home. Just the way he told me he wanted it to end. I think about him everyday and miss the he'l outta him.
Wow....I swear once they took some breathing machine off of my dads face it was about 30 pain free minutes before he stopped breathing.....If felt like a week I cannot imagine 2 1/2 weeks....It will all work out in the end......
