Just wanted to chare a picture of engine swap in my -62 Valiant 360 Magnum 904 and 8 3/4

I have heard these fit our early A's, good to see they do work What year Truck are they ? other side fit fin ? Great move I bet Love the color of your 62 Valaint :thumbsup:
 
Wow, Hemi Demon, I must congratulate you on having kept your battery and heater box under the hood. I've got an LA engine stabbed into my '62 V-200 more door daily driver, but I've got my battery in the trunk and I ditched the heater box. I thought what you did was impossible until I saw your pictures!

It is tight on right side to but it works and the green is wery green :)

It was some work whit the heater i modified a core from a Mazda modified the cower to fit. I eaven got room for brake servo :)

We should have an first years of Valiants ( The Early First years) or something, you all have some very very fine Valiant's :thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
Need clarification, did you remove just under a 1/4" of material or machine the mounting flange down to a thickness of just under 1/4"? Driver side only?

Great looking Valiant! Very nice workmanship!

I removed 1/4 material on both manifold and it is still tight
 
Great work guys, my ride is setting has a 170 bought a 360/408 , was going with turbo now back to more power , THANKS FOR MAKING MY DAY YEAR SHE IY LIFE he ha 360 fits in my 62 lancer

My ride is a 4 speed car I hope that will make it easer
 
Anyone that has done this awesome swap please hit me back tons of questions! Man a live I was bummed out I was going to sell the car but now life is back life is good

What year Exhaust Manifolds are they Do you have a pic of the manifolds or one of them on the engine before installed? If you would or could thank you! I am psyched out about getting this engineer now!
