Notice the Isky E 4 has a longer duration @ .050 than the first Schneider cam. Isky and Racer Brown have fast smooth rates. You were not sucking the pan dry, unless you had a huge oil pump inlet. Did you see any drop in oil pressure?
did not have a gauge just a idiot light .
just talked to erson .....they recommend this cam >>>>.. appears it doesn't have the bottom end torque , comes on late in rpm band.
