My son just got a call that a good friend crashed. Thought I would share the video. We were told the front of the door came loose and turned the car.

Oh that was pretty nasty !
Echo what Pauly said !
Prayers sent

Wow, 200 plus and wreck like that. I think he should be sending the chassis and cage maker a big gift. Speedy recovery hoped for.

Jack

Glad he survived. Sendin prayers for your friend.

hard to tell from this angle, but it looks like he just barely missed the guy in the other lane
this could have ended way, way worse

The Malibu won the 100G.i think he ran a 3.66 for a radial record that beat the pass in the video

The Malibu he was racing set a new world record. Good he did. Or frank would have hit him. Frank will be OK. He shattered his arm pretty bad. The car is destroyed My son has pics on social media.

It is torn to pieces except for the cage. Not even the rear was in the car. he also has the X-rays of Franks arm what a mess. I'll try to get pics of the car and X-rays from my son. Maybe this will put some fear in Frank. He always would laugh the close ones off. Always smiling. Like my son no fear. .

I ask myself . Myself, Was I like that? I couldn't have been. What makes us do this crazy stuff? The faster you go, The faster you want to go. And now no Prep ,WTF is wrong with these kids. 200 plus in an 1/8 ??? and wheels up.

Wow. By the calculator, the Malibu ran a 5.82@274 in the 1/4. If the right parts were in place for 1/4 mile and it kept excelerating and so forth. Wow

Thank God for good chassis and Cage Builders..Going that fast on a no prep track it's not if you crash it's when..Glad he is relatively well.

Got some pics he doesn't look good. I feel bad for him I know the pain. Been there.

After my crash I just wanted them to put me to sleep . Felt like a tuning fork of pain for a week. took almost a year to walk on my own.

Thank god he's young and was in good physical condition. He' not Smiling like in the last video I posted. He'll feel these injury again with age.

That hand will take some time to heal. My middle Son got pissed and put his fist thru a wall and broke it in two places. That was 2 months ago and it still hurts him. Wish your friend well.

friend of mine was in Malibu ended up running a 3.62 at 218 during the weekend and won 10100.00 dollars he has that thing trucking

Damn. Glad it wasn't any worse for him. He's a hell of a nice guy. I used to shoot pool with him on a Monday night league when I lived near Allentown. I hope he makes as quick a recovery as possible.

wow that was a bad one ,good to hear he's ok , is it the track or did the chassis fail ? the car seems to squat a split second before the door pops , it all happens so quick it's hard to see what happens first .

WOW is right.. alot happens fast at that speed. speedy recovery for your friend. I'm glad he'll see another day.
