What is your big project today?

I think the wood splitter needs a pipe, Mikuni carb, shave the head, bigger cam, and remove the governor. That way it will throw the wood into piles for you.

Mine is prepping and painting the 20 ft iron cross on the front of the church. I'm head trustee and today is my planned beautification day. Have a handful of happy to help helpers and a couple who feel obligated ro help rake out the leaves and remulch all the mulch beds, paint some foundation. I took on the cross myself because I only trust my self at the top of a 28 ft ladder, and I wouldn't ask any of the helpers to do anything that I wouldn't do myself.

After yesterday's job, got home and had to play a game of tg with my 2 younger kids.

I like the way you think man! A few mods might be nice. Hmmmm :)

Split some large red oak and birch the old school way for some benches, 8lb maul, bunch of wedges and little brute force.. Now sipping bourbon by the fire and nursing some aches and pains LOL!

These benches are heavy as hell. Gonna have to sneak the "Boss'' " /wife's Jeep to get them back in the woods.

I had one of those trampolines just like that one you got. It lasted 4 months, then a nasty storm with 80mph straight line wind gusts brewed up and picked it up like a toy and slammed it into my shop ruining the 18' roll up door, then slammed it into the back of the house, before picking it up and launching it like a UFO over the house skidding across the roof, screwing up my nice metal roof, and finally slamming it into my side yard fence, flopping over the fence and stopping as it went into my neighbors dining room window and smashing it.

Six months later after my homeowners insurance payed for everything to be fixed, my wife actually had the balls to say hey lets get another one, the kids never really got to enjoy it.

My response to her was priceless. (What the hell is the matter with you, What are you? some kind of a Effing nut ?!?)

Trampoline was the wifes idea, i was never fully onboard with it really didnt want that thing in the yard anyways. I believe God would concur, but the way he got rid of it for me was epic. After that she wanted an effing above ground swimming pool. I said no, and answer will always be no. I dont need any drowned kids. A pool is not a babysitter.
Rant over.

Only pix i have of it is what i turned it into. A rotisserie.

Only thing i did this weekend was go to work, then change the oil n filter on the family van.

What is the color/hue of the countertop? I like it.....

JW

That one is “Tiger Skin White”
I thought the “New Caledonia” looked the best, but the boss wants, what the boss wants

This may sound funny, but aircraft electrical systems are so much easier to work on. Probably because only smart morons touch them!

All itty bitty wires, insulation is all white in color with just tracer numbers on em every few feet. You can keep that ****. I prefer to drill holes in aircraft and hammer rivets into them. I bet you sparkys hate it when we sheet metalers drill a wire bundle lol. Actually i never have. Been doing this for 24 years. I'm smart enough to clip the zip ties or lacing cord, and displace the bundles out of the way before drilling. Or i wedge a piece of stainless steel sheet between a wire bundle and where i have to drill. Have a guy i work with. Got the record though. Hit 25 wires in one shot on a SAAB 340B. Shorted out the wires thru the drill bit and because master power was turned on, circuit breakers in the cockpit started popping like popcorn, and the #2 engines starter started to motor over. Our sparkys were pissed off that day fixing the aftermath.

1. Need to get some grass seed thrown out on the "scant" areas of the yard.

2. Throw some 10-10-10 on the plants and bushes that need it.

3. Clean the R1200RT BMW up for sale.

4. Clean the Suzuki 650 scooter up for sale.

5. Clean the shop to get back after Dottie Rae tomorrow.

I might get 50% done today!

I just put the last two sections of that dock in the water...boy, is that pond cold

Cleanin up an old big block for a future project.

Its Michigan it wont be long and you will be swimming.

We had some friends over and on of their girls decided to go for a swim
Well, maybe she didn't decide, she might have fallen off the dock...but swim she did

Drilling more spot welds. Does anyone know the exact number of spot welds that are in a-bodies? That is one thing on these cars I do not know. Maybe I'll count them up for every section I remove. I just about know front clips. seems we are doing them monthly.
