Can't bring myself to part this rare 340 car out

Definitely in some cases, but I don't think there is anything worse for the present and future of the hobby, than the guy that scours all around and buys every damn AFFORDABLE broke down, no longer wanted, tore apart project, neglected, etc old Mopar and parts it out, so he can add to his ego boosting stash of parts. I'm talking about the guys with HUGE volumes of parts. He might sell some, but usually just wants everyone else to know what he has. I've seen many times where these guys threaten to scrap their stuff if somebody doesn't agree with their prices or doesn't come with a semi and a boatload of cash immediately, when they decide to allow their horde to be sold. To me that shows what they really think/feel about cars, that they are just ego feeders and cash cows. A lot of those cars could have been a teenagers first car. A father and son project. An old dreamer's nostalgia ride. I've been around. I've seen huge parts/ car stashes many times. I have a bunch of ****. But they difference is those guys did NOT go out and grab a bunch of cars to just cut up. True parts cars are a huge part of our hobby, of course. But it seems to me that actual, affordable cars are a pretty damn big part of it also. Maybe the OP will eventually part that Dart, but just reading his comments shows his integrity towards cars, unlike the stripper's/borders.
I love it. I've been wondering about a new nick name with that new picture.

However, If cars aren't parted out, where will we get the hard to find parts????? If it was a 69 M code 440 car, a 64 Sport Fury 426 wedge car, or a 70 hemi Cuda convertible I'd agree to NOT part it out. But from the description (and for some strange reason no pictures were posted), it doesn't sound like a rare car. If you want to restore it, that's GREAT. I spent more time and money restoring my 69 fastback than it will ever be worth. All I am saying is that parting out a car allows MANY other cars to live on.
