I have checked out the vintage air video and now have a better understanding of the switch and how it works. I suppose you could hook it to the Dakota digital controller with a relay as the controller needs a + signal to activate and the trinary switch puts out a - signal. If you don`t hook it to the controller I would guess you would hook it up to the high speed side of the fan.
