I installed a Gear Vendor overdrive behind my 904 last fall and the manual says to use Dextron 3 and at the time I bought it they said that Synthetic was not to be used.
Anybody know what type or kind I should use.

I think the synthetic oil is to slippery and can cause the clutches to slip, I know that if you put Suzuki V twin oil in a Aprilia 1000 V twin the clutch will slip. Definitly go with what the manufacture recommends.

does anyone no what the best brand of Dextron 3 to use

I used any name brand and stay away from off brand, just read it and make sure it's not synthetic or semi synthetic,

I called GearVendors about that before and they said to use Dextron lll. He said not to use ATF4 cause its to slippery. To bad, I have about 15 quarts of +4 laying around Bob
