Just wondering if anyone has installed a retrosound radio on a 1970 , just looking for some reports on install and finish pros and cons if any.

I have one in my '70 dart. It's a knob style, some mopars are thumbwheel style. What do you have?

I love mine. It's a pain to assemble the radio. Not at all hard, just a pain. The knobs are adjustable in height, width, and depth to fit your bezel and dash. The buttons are also adjustable. There are several plastic lenses that fit different bezels.

I got the Redondo I think. It has Bluetooth, usb, aux cord, adjustable screen colors, etc. It's pretty high tech.

I have the basic model (AM/FM radio with an aux input). It was a fairly easy install since everything is adjustable. It took some playing around with it to get it right, such as not having the knobs stick out too far.

The knob shafts are sensitive so do not over-tighten them or else the controls will act weird sometimes. The radio really needs to be supported from the back which is a pain to do.

I tried to see if they had one for my 71' Scamp but it doesn't have one listed. Do you think the 70 dart one would fit?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Got a picture of your factory radio or bezel?

We put one in my son's Scamp. The basic, with aux input. Very pleased. We used the factory knobs also! I think we ordered one for a 69 Camaro. The glue on badges on the front just pop off. Shhhhh. Don't tell.
We did have to modify the radio/heater trim panel slightly.

good to know, the guy before me put in a cheap newer aftermarket radio and its just so ugly in the car.

put one ($$$$) in my 67 cuda,,,sounds good until you start the engine,,, radio cuts out and clips on USB input,,, rerouted wiring and insulated them,, still no good. be advised.

Only downside is I had to cut the heater/radio trim a little. Hurt my heart a little but junior didn't want to pay for a reconditioned factory radio. Looks kinda factory.
Off it looks like an AM radio.

I just got done installing a RetroSound Redondo in my Duster about a week or so ago. I have an install thread on the Interiors Forum. Check it out. I have a ton of pictures.
