How did you get into MoPars ?

20180207_104938.jpg I got hooked around 8 years old when my dad bought his first new car, a 1965 cornet 440 more door, /6 3 on the tree. Didn't think much about it at the time. But in 68 he went shopping for a new dodge and by then all the muscle cars where coming out and I would go with him to collect all the sales brochures and try to talk him into getting a cool car . He bought another cornet 4 door /6 auto. Around 1972 my dad brought home a cream colored 67 2 door sport satellite with black western scroll interior 318 auto (man what a beautiful car those where). Looked like new and he picked it up from the dealers used lot for $500 for my first car !!!! ( get a hair cut and job and stay out of trouble) Well anyway he decided to give it to my mom cause it was to nice for me and I ended up with a 65 Mustang 6 cyl 3 spd . Drove it through high school and swore I'd never own another Ford. I did end up buying the Satellite off my sister a few years later. But since then I have owned so many Mopars I can't remember them all or where some of them went . Grew up got married raised a family. When my son turned 15 we found him a 67 fastback barracuda, saved it from the crusher and fixed it up for his first car. Put a 340 auto but I put a 2 barrel carb so he wouldn't kill himself right off the bat. He still has the car ( the blue cuda in my garage pics.) We ended up drag racing together at Gateway Int in St. Louis. As of now I still own Mopars. 2014 Ram and 66 A100 van .
