Guess that depends on your definition LOL. You can hear it when you get in and turn on the key. I can't hear it most of the time driving. I did NOT take any particular mounting precautions, some rubber padding I'm sure would quiet it down more.
and, depending on what you use for fuel line, that may transmit noise as well
