Stop in for a cup of coffee

See, this thread has been more or less ok for 8400 pages ---- You want to change the rules. I get it. I have a different position though. I don't want to **** it up, which your rule change might do. Your rule change might **** up many other threads too. So do I risk it or leave things as they are ?
'As they are' is not 'as they were'. There is a somewhere in between that can work. The rules never changed. Just they were not enforced at times and stuff was let slide. We need to re-establish the rules as we are doing here. Then, it is up to individuals to follow them.
So your idea is to let things happen and then clean it up after? How about this -- lets avoid the problem in the first place and keep politics in the politics forum.
Yes, but with the rules clearly established, hopefully there won't be much cleanup.
