The 2000 Jeep 4.0L Camshaft Synchronizer is a World Power Systems CAMS4601 ($33.79) and the connector is a Standard Motor Products S-2099 ($21.99)
The dark gray cap is an alignment tool to hold the sensor in the correct position when it is installed at 50* BTDC.
