And you can all thank Martin Luther for today's beer recipe. He was a true rebel back in his day, basically telling the Pope and Catholicism to 'take your religion and ....'.Well we all know the story of Reformation, but I digress. He rebelled in the Pope's beer recipe too. It used to only be made of certain costly grains, stuff you would not recognize beer to be made with today, more like barley wines and meed. He told his wife (!) to make it out of lower field grains such as malt, hops and wheat just to stick it to the Catholic Man. So began the modern Beer recipe.

Beer drinkers always need a good beer drinking song.

In Heaven there is no Beer. That's why we drink it here.

Show me a chick that drinks Colt 45 and Ill show you a good time Sally. That stuff is harsh
I haven't seen it up here in years lol. Dad always sang the song (after a few) lol. I always snuck the odd one and was able to finish it lol.

You guys made me do it!

Some Goose Island IPA, yummy.

I remember the Billy Dee Williams Colt 45 commercials, "works every time!"

Works every time? Yeah, that sign should be eye level over the toilet. Although I drank a **** load of Red Horse 'extra strong beer' @ 8% in Olongapo, PI and it's marketed here as malt liquor. Your 0600 PT sweat the next morning smelled like formaldehyde.

Just un-corked a home brew. Orange shandy, 8%, ice cold and where do the bubbles come from out of the bottom of the glass? Cheers!

Anaconda Malt Liquor -anythings better than bud light .I've never seen a Das Boot with a handle before either Captain .
Who remembers the Red Cap song or " Snap into a barley sandwich "? I still prefer it to the popular stuff today .
