Re-spraying engine bay

It depends on the size of the runs but you can block them out until they are gone. If you have a bunch of feather edges because of this you may need to spot prime it so you don't have any swelling when you re-paint. Depending on the condition of the paint you should be able to prep and paint with no sealer. What color are you putting on it next? This will determine how you prep the existing surface.

The runs aren't that big. The paint was actually put on September of 2016, and is in great shape, I just wasn't happy with how it came out and since I now on to the body, I want to shoot the whole car at one time. I want to put plum crazy back on it, but in BC/CC and will probably go with the 2016 Formula. I think I like it better.

What do you suggest for sandpaper?
