Hi, looking for advice on rust remover. I’ve got a set of Kelsey Hayes disc brake calipers to rebuild and I know some on here have done so. So I was curious which rust remover they soaked them in thanks.

i have them bead blasted , there is a stuff from doctor x . it removes rust very well . but its 40 bucks a gal plus the shipping . but works great . it an acid , you will need to wash it off in a hot water wash . i'm doing a few sets of them presently .

Evaporust may be an option. Lots of guy's here on the forum use it with positive results. 65'

Yep, Evaporust.
You will be quite pleased with the results.
Been using 5 gallon pails of it for years.

Electrolysis is amazing. I've been using it on backing plates and other rusty parts. The rust totally disappears

I do the same, works really well. I find I have to wash the parts immediately after removing and coat with a rust prohibitor or paint. They flash rust real quick in me.
