Need local TQ expert

I love TQs
Ok well, not love exactly,
but it's my favorite carb,
not to work on maybe, but
primary throttle-response is killer, with a small to medium street cam;
but, more than anything, I like the roar of the secondaries.
Too bad I don't live next door.
Too bad indeed. The secondaries are killer!

where in SJ are you? i'd look at it for ya but i haven't had one apart in many years (about 20 years) so not really sure i'd want to experiment on someones carb..lol

th eone in my old LRE used to constantly suck dirt into the needle and seat.. it wouldn't idle when that happened.. would flood itself out..

Joe, I am down the road from you off Rt 30, I bought the 360 from you last year. I do not know what is causing the issue. The guy who rebuilt it said its probably dirt. It seems odd to me that dirt would be an issue that fast the day after the rebuild, when it was not an issue before and the carb was beat. The tank was done a few years ago, how can i keep dirt out? It seems its flooding itself out and the bowl is leaking, from flooding? I am taking the carb off and bringing it back to get checked. My next round of questions will be setting it up properly!
