Steering Wheel Quick Disconnect

Anyone ever install such a critter in an early-a AND retain horn function?

After having a hand slamming one in an 87 supra i thought that the horn function being still available was pretty trick.

The one we used was from NRG Innovations. I found they do make one for mopars, however they list it as 69+.

I have a spare column for my 66, and a steering wheel from a 74 fury. splines are the same (36) however i dont have a 69+ column to look at to compare the contacts for the horn ring, and the depth of the turn signal cam assembly.

So, anyone have any ideas or experience? Specifically with NRG Innovations products in an early-a?
