I used the dynomax super turbos @2-1/2 inches, offset in center out, full tail pipes. My ‘03-5.9 was basically stock except rpm intake, 600 carb, headers into a true dual exhaust to the bumper.
I found the sound quietly muscular at cruise, noticeable when I’m on it, quite at idle. It seems to suite the sedate build of a true Mello hot rod cruiser. That’s what I wanted. Something to drive anywhere at anytime for any distance while enjoying music.
I tried several mufflers. (There inexpensive enough) I also tried;
Hooker Asro Chambers. Louder and states muscle car.
Summit turbo mufflers tha came with the exhaust kit. Louder still yet. Slightly annoyed at the sound level for strictly a cruiser, powerful sound.
What case size Super Turbos. ,did you use Rob...? Running the Imco turbo mufflers ,from the mandrel bent 2.5" Jegs kit .. They are louder ,than the two chamber Flows ,I had.
