massive reconfiguration time again.

Strippers, go smell the $1.00 bills in your wallet and think, has this been in a strippers crack?

The windshield chrome clips came today. There not 100% identical, but they'll work.

Do yourself a favor and screw an old clip in and then screw in a new clip. Measure the installed height and width on both. You might even try a temporary install with just a couple clips to be sure in fits.
Don't ask how I know.....

Exactly what I did. It didn't work at first and I thought O-man these aren't going to work. But I noticed they were bent in quite a bit and when I bent them out just a bit they almost hung on a little bit better than stock ones and couldn't get them off. LOL
And thank you for making sure..

The environmental side of me would like to know if the paint stripping material is disposed as hazardous waste.

Yep, that is about right. LOL
Awesome that you checked first.

Well the thing is too, I have the person coming in the morning to put the window in and of course I need those first. When I first got them I thought they wouldn't work so I wasn't sure if I would have to call him and cancel till I had the correct clips.

Well that's it - IT'S MASSIVELY RECONFIGURED!
Windshield in and ready for alignment.
THANK you everyone that kept me encouraged when I needed it.
Oh YR? I'm ready...

Blue valve covers are cool, have not seen them for a while?

Yeah actually had a complete thread on those valve covers a couple years ago when I got them. Those and the pentastar medallions on top of the air cleaner are a couple of my prized possessions

WTF is going on with your plug wires???

You need to shorten those..

Besides that it looks epic!

I would dam near smash my left nut for a SB dual carb set up!
Nice job man.

In my state, anything solid can go into the landfill. Aint no different than a water bottle.

I kind of got what I got with does MSD wires. I'd like to set something up a little neater for sure and the angle of that picture doesn't look very good either. Seems like there's always room for improvement LOL will it ever end! LOL I'd like that fuel line to be a little more hidden but having it all away from the motor before it's delivered keeps the heat soak off of it I would think. I'm even going to try an experiment with shutting my fuel pump off coming down the return Lane and emptying the carburetors out so they don't heat soak the fuel before I take off for another run?

X2 same here, anything but liquids can go to the landfill.
The stripper will harden eventually, and you just end up with dried paint chips.

My wife is an environmental engineer! I can't even get the carb cleaner that makes my harbor freight cheap plastic gloves melt! &_$#@!!?

That fuel line scares me, dangling above those hot headers.
